With a population of just over 320,000, Canberra is Australia's largest inland city. In actuality, while out and about in Canberra, you might wonder where everyone is. We found it to be quite a sleepy little place.

What we thought most exciting about Canberra is the Australian War Memorial and the new Parliament House. The War Memorial gives visitors a view of the horrors of war and also pays tribute to those who have fought and lost their lives. The new Parliament House is quite a structure as well. Blending modern style and functionality of the Australian government, the new Parliament House is a must see in Canberra.
All and all, we would not advise you planning a vacation to Canberra. If you are in Australia for a long time, go ahead and see the city, but if you are in Australia for a short time, head out to see the other amazing natural sites of Australia, and save Canberra for your next visit.
